After a successful probationary arrival test, the first contract is 3 months with a possible offer of a long-term contract.
Note: This position can become a solution for resettlement to Sweden and having a permanent position.
No of hours per week:
Minimum 40 hours per week (can occasionally be more).
Work is following planned shifts. 2 days free a week scheduled is the norm.
Pay per hour:
SEK 175 (approx. Euro 16 converted)
Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depending on annual income level) alternative posted self-employed from the country of resident rules apply.
Qualifications:
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Fair and communicative English
- Drivers licence B
- Experience in forest work is a must (including handling of clearing-saw and chain-saw)
- Experience from farm work Is a plus
- Experience with Chicken farming is a plus
- Prepared to follow instructions given and
- Positive to teamwork
- Positive to physical work
- Having a good health condition
Thought of candidate profile:
A candidate who is a team worker and who have experience in forest work with the use of chain and clearing saw. If a candidate in addition got farming experience with animals its a plus.
Selection process:
Assessment is done first from CV with possible online interview to select candidate.
Once a candidate is approved, the candidate will have to sign a probationary agreement that is for the 14 first days of test period. If approved after 14 days candidate will sign contract for the remaining period as self-employed in Sweden model.
Test hours are compensated for loss of time with Euro 16 per hour.
(14 days test do not apply to candidate’s resident or prior resident in Sweden, in such cases arrangement have to be done on a case to case basis with a short none paid test at arrival).
Task:
It mainly involves forestry work. Clearing, manual felling and cutting down windfalls.
Also during certain periods being able to support pullet production by loading pullet chickens (this can happen for example when weather in the forest do not permit forest work).
The ultimate client:
A family farm where the management consists of the family. On the farm, there is a foreman and 25 employees. The employees consist mainly of Swedes and Lithuanians and some from Poland. In the forest, we have one staff member. It is intended that the person we are looking for will work together with him for development within the work area.

The accommodation is in proximity to the farm and the forest. Transportation from accommodation to workplace is available.
