After passing and approving the arrival test a 3-month contract is followed if successful by a long-term contract minimum of 18 months with possible continuation.

No of hours per week:

Minimum 50 hours a week, possible to extend with additional hours.

Minimum one day free per week.

Pay per hour:

Euro 15 per hour

Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depending on annual income level) alternative posted self-employed from the country of resident rules apply.

Qualifications:

Overall assessment of positive details such as:

Fair and communicative English
Driver’s licence B it’s a plus
Experience with milking cows
Experience in dealing with cows and calves
Prepared to follow instructions given and positive to teamwork
Positive to physical work
Having good health condition

Thought candidate Profile:

A candidate who has experience with milk farming and dealing with cows and calves.

Selection process:

Assessment is done first from a CV with a possible online interview to select a candidate.

Once a candidate is approved, the candidate will have to sign a probationary agreement that is for the 14 first days of the test period. If approved after 14 days candidate will sign a contract for the remaining period as self-employed in the Sweden model.

Test hours are compensated for loss of time with Euro 15 per hour.

(The 14-day test do not apply to the candidate’s resident or prior resident in Sweden, in such cases, arrangements have to be made on a case-to-case basis with a short non-paid test at arrival).

Task:

Assisting at animal farming and the farm in general including driving tractors, and machines and doing repair and maintenance when possible.

The ultimate client:

Well-established family-operated milk farm that also has farm machines. There are 115 cows on the farm (and 330 animals in total). There are 2-3 persons working at the farm mainly from Sweden and Lithuania. The manager is Swedish.
