Ongoing with two options
A. Rotation work 2 months and free 1 month (travel back when free at own expense) or
B. Permanent work ongoing (initial contract 3 months followed with a possible long-term contract more than 12 months)
No of hours per week:
Minimum 48 hours per week (can become more occasional). Work is following planned shifts.
1 day free a week and usually the number of hours per day is 8.
Pay per hour:
Payment is assed due to skills and through the process. At the test, the payment is Euro 13. For agreement after testing it might remain with a review at an agreed point or it might be higher.
Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depending on annual income level) alternative posted self-employed from the country of resident rules apply.
Qualifications:
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Fair and communicative English
- Drivers licence B it’s a plus
- Driver’s licence for the tractor is a plus
- Experience in tractor driving is a plus
- Experience with animals in particular cows and calves is a plus
- Prepared to follow instructions given and positive to teamwork
- Positive to physical work
- Having a good health condition
Note a zero-tolerance policy applies for alcohol and drug use at assignment.
Thought candidate Profile:
A candidate who has experience in farming work with animals and if possible, also how to operate the tractor.
Selection process:
Assessment is done first from a CV with a possible online interview to select a candidate.
Once a candidate is approved, the candidate will have to sign a probationary agreement that is for the 14 first days of the test period. If approved after 14 days candidate will sign a contract for the remaining period as self-employed in the Sweden model.
Test hours are compensated for the loss of time with Euro 13 per hour.
(14 days tests do not apply to the candidate’s residence or prior resident in Sweden, in such cases, arrangements have to be done on a case-to-case basis with a short none paid test at arrival).
Task:
Dealing with the milking process, making sure the cows and calves are well possible tractor tasks.
The ultimate client:
Well-established family operated milk farms that also have farm machines and some cultivation of vegetables. There are 700 cows on the farm (400 for milking). 7-8 persons work at the farm mainly from Sweden, Lithuania, Germany and Afghanistan. Women also work at the farm from time to time and there is a dress room based on gender.
